Installations needed to set up Kapture with Mahr instruments Print

**Working with wireless instruments or devices is now possible both with KaptureWin and control.kapture.io.**

To set up and connect Mahr instruments with KaptureIO, user will need to donwload a specific software:

Install MarComProf

This software connects Mahr instruments to Kapture and allows to configure the data output in order that it can be read by Kapture: this software reads the data from a serial port and passes this data to a PC application in such a manner that the application thinks it is entered via keyboard.

To start the installation of the MarCom Software, please execute the Setup-MarCom.exe file and follow the instructions.

A small status window will appear in the screen in which you are to determine where the program files and templates are to be stored.

Once this software is installed and having the corresponding Mahr i-Stick, it is possible to start the configuration so that everything works properly with KaptureIO.
