By default, LMI gauges are configured to send associated to the data measured the gauge ID. To make this kind of instruments work with KaptureIO, this extra information needs to be removed.
For this purpose, user has two different ways:
1. Using LMI software:
Connect the base to the computer, open the LMI Wireless Utility software, select option1 in the output format and send the configuration to the base.
2. Using MobileCollect Extended and Wedgelink Xpress softwares:
a. Open MobileCollect Extended and click on "Find base unit". Make note of the COM port that will be displayed at the bottom of the window:
b. Click on base setup tab and remove A1 if it appears under "Module ID":
c. Press "Send setup to base" button and close the software.
d. Open Wedgelink Xpress software and follow the standard steps to connect the LMI device to KaptueIO.
