This area is focused on the Root cause analysis.


We can define two types of causes:

  • Occurrence.
  • Non-detection.


Also, we can see a quick view of the different causes, with general information related to:

  • Status of the root cause analysis.
  • Who is responsible for this cause. 
  • Department responsible for the resolution.
  • General description.
  • Forecast Date of the cause.
  • Closure date of the root cause analysis (if applies).
  • Actions (Edit or delete).


To generate a new cause, we need to click on "New cause" and then, the next window will open automatically:

As we can see, in this first step, we only need to introduce two concepts:

  • Type of the cause.
  • General description of the root cause analysis.


Once the cause is created, on the action column we will select the edit button to go deeper on the definition of the cause. For further information, go to the Issue List Module explanation area.
