OPTION 3: Windows User can install software with Admin user assistance
1. Log in as the standard Windows User
2. Start the software installation "kwin.exe" using the admin user
3. Follow the installation instructions but change the installation directory/folder to:
C:\Users\%currentUser%\AppData\Local\Programs\Kapture Win
where %currentUser% is the name of the standard User.
4. Once completed the installation, Kapture Win can be started and logged in with a Kapture User credentials.
5. Before finishing, restart the computer and check that you can log into Kapture Win again.
FIREWALL & ANTIVIRUS
In some cases Kapture Win can be slowed down due to company firewalls and antivirus. It may be necessary to create an exemption so Kapture Win can communicate (both inbound & outbound) with Kapture.io. In the link below we describe the details required for most firewall configurations:
